Idea Pins no longer exist as a separate format. Pinterest merged them into standard Pins in 2023, so every Pin can now be an image, a video or several pages.

Official safe zones
- Keep key text at least 270 px from the top, 65 px from the left, 195 px from the right and 790 px from the bottom.
- The bottom margin is big because Pinterest's UI covers that area.
Is Pinterest still worth it? Yes, if your content is searchable: recipes, home, fashion, DIY, travel or weddings. Pins keep getting found for months, unlike most social posts.
