A media kit is your one-page (or 3–5 page) answer to "why you?" Keep it current, honest and easy to forward.
What to include
- Who you are: a photo, a one-line bio, your niche, and where you're based.
- Platforms and handles, with links.
- Audience: followers per platform, plus what brands really want: top countries and cities, age range, gender split. Screenshot your native insights.
- Performance: median views per Reel, TikTok or YouTube video (last 30–90 days), saves and shares, Story views, and engagement rate. Say which period the numbers cover.
- Content examples: 3–6 of your best posts, ideally including branded ones, with links.
- Case studies: "Brand X: brief → what I made → results" (views, clicks, codes used). One strong case study beats ten logos.
- Brands you've worked with: only real, completed partnerships.
- Services: Reels, TikToks, UGC-only (no posting), photography, usage and whitelisting options, and events.
- Rates: either "from" prices or "rates on request." Many creators send rates separately so they can tailor them.
- Contact: a business email and response time.
New for 2026
- Add your AI policy: what you do and don't use AI for. Brands now ask, and the EU and platforms expect AI labelling (article 9).
- Note your compliance habits, e.g. "All sponsored posts labelled 'Ad' + platform tool." This reassures brand legal teams.
- Show cross-platform reach and audience overlap honestly.
Avoid: inflated or old stats, and any purchased followers or engagement. In the US, buying fake indicators of influence to misrepresent it is now banned (FTC, 2024).
